ABOUT BETTINA
Bettina Loy began her riding career and life long passion for horses in Germany, at the age of 11. She spent much time riding and training with German trainers noted for their commitment to Classical Dressage, which has become the sport standard world wide.
WHAT SHE'S DONE
In 1996, Bettina came to California where she met three-time Olympian Guenter Seidel. Working for Guenter, Bettina had the wonderful opportunity to care for and work with his world class horses. In 2000, she accompanied Guenter to the Olympic Games in Sydney Australia as his assistant.
WHAT SHE DOES
In 2002, Bettina founded Del Mar Dressage on the name sake of her I-1 Swedish Warmblood gelding, "Del Mar". Bettina currently trains clients and horses at every level, from beginner through FEI. When Bettina is not riding, teaching or showing, she enjoys training with world renowned master Conrad Schumacher.
